Bakuchiol (baa-koo-chee-owl) is a naturally derived skincare ingredient found in the seeds of the babchi plant - a popular herb used in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. The botanical ingredient provides anti-ageing and acne reduction results similar to retinol. However, unlike retinols which often require a prescription and can be harsh on the skin, Bakuchiol is gentle but effective.
