Help with the Menopause

I have been reading an interesting article in "Aesthetic Medicine" magazine written by Dr Yusra Al-Mukhtar concerning the top preventative treatments which are non surgical. For information, I list them here:

  1. HRT gel or HRT tablets to help with hormonal imbalance impacting skin including sensitivity and dehydration.

  2. Skin boosters to help rehydrate the skin and improve skin glow (for example, Profhilo Revive and skin boosters

  3. Anti wrinkle injections to help slow the signs of ageing and reduce frowning

  4. Medical grade skincare to improve skin quality and texture, pigmentation and the onset of acne

  5. Dermal fillers to treat lost volume in the face. For example cheek augmentation, tear trough and under-eye augmentation or the jawline

  6. Laser (e.g. Endolift) facelifts for skin tightening and reduction of jowls and double chin.

  7. Micro-needling radiofrequency for collagen stimulation, pore-refinement and skin texture improvement.

  8. 8. High-intensity focused ultrasound to non-surgically tighten the face.
